Job Title: Foreman (Logistics)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Foreman (Logistics) to oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies. The ideal candidate will supervise logistics personnel, coordinate deliveries, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily logistics, warehouse, and material handling activities.
- Coordinate the receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites or operational departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics personnel.
- Coordinate with procurement, site teams, suppliers, and transport providers.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and logistics procedures.
- Inspect materials for quality and quantity upon receipt.
- Prepare daily logistics reports and maintain documentation.
- Resolve logistics and transportation issues to minimize delays.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations, with at least 2 years as a Foreman or Supervisor.
- Knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, and transportation processes.
- Experience in construction or industrial logistics is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse/inventory management systems is preferred.
