Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Mechanical to plan, coordinate, and oversee mechanical construction activities from project initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure all mechanical works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical installation and construction activities.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of mechanical works.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and technical documentation.
- Inspect mechanical installations and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower for efficient project execution.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Monitor project costs and assist in budget and resource management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Piping, or MEP systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
